An incredible act took place in Graz on Saturday evening: a previously unknown man allegedly doused a homeless man with a flammable liquid and set him on fire. The life of the 52-year-old victim is in danger and the perpetrator is being sought.
After midnight, witnesses saw a man walking away from the entrance of a shop with a van on Lendplatz in Graz. Shortly afterwards there was a shock: passers-by noticed that a man was on fire. It involved a 52-year-old homeless man who probably spent the night there.
The victim’s life is in danger
The Hungarian suffered serious burns and was taken to the LKH Graz by the rescue team. According to doctors, the man’s life is in danger.
An immediate search for the unknown man has so far turned up nothing. Description of the perpetrator: Male, about 40 to 50 years old, about 170 centimeters tall, wearing dark clothing.
