Agreement at Siemens Gamesa Arazuri after a month and a half of indefinite strike

The Siemens Gamesa Arazuri Committee (2 CCOO, 2 CGT and 1 ELA) has signed an agreement with management after two months of mobilizations, which includes a clause guaranteeing the application of any improvement in working conditions included in the Siemens Gamesa Sarriguren framework agreement office.

In addition, as CCOO reports in a statement, the lowest salaries will be increased, flexibility will be improved, formulas will be adopted to deal with collective redundancies and forgotten categories will be increased from 2023.

The agreement comes after two months mobilizations that started on January 22 with partial interruptions that culminated in an indefinite strike on February 5.

Among the improvements included in the agreement are the CPI rises also equated with Sarriguren’s office framework agreement: 4.8% for 2023 and 3.75 for 2024, 2025 and 2026. In addition, a one-off payment of 1% will be made on 2022 salaries before the 2023 CPI update.

For CCOO, the strike and mobilizations, supported by almost the entire Arazuri workforce – consisting of 70 people – managed to unblock the negotiations on the agreement and reach an agreement that brings their working conditions closer to the rest of the group’s workforce brings. lowest salaries, improve flexibility and adopt formulas to deal with collective redundancies that may occur in the future.
