A total of three people were injured in two accidents in Tyrol on Thursday. Two cars collided sideways in Nassereith (Imst district). Meanwhile, in Zell am Ziller (Schwaz district), a car fell into a stream bed. Those involved in the accident have been taken to hospitals.
The first accident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. A German (35) drove his car in Nassereith on the B 179 from the south towards Fernpass. At the same time, an Italian (21) was driving south from Fern Pass. “In a bend, the 21-year-old crossed into the oncoming vehicle for reasons that are still unclear,” the police said.
This caused a side collision with the 35-year-old’s car. Both the driver and a passenger of the German were injured in the crash and were taken to Zams Hospital after receiving first aid. The two cars were severely damaged. The road had to be closed to all traffic for half an hour.
