Wild scenes took place on Höchsterstrasse in Dornbirn on Thursday morning around 2:30 am. There, a motorist was overtaken and thwarted by two previously unknown perpetrators. The men fired several shots at the driver’s car, who was hit in the shoulder.
After the victim was injured by one of the shots fired, the two perpetrators allegedly stormed the car. They then stole a large sum of money from the 34-year-old.
Many open questions
Whether the men actually stole a large amount of money, whether and why the victim had a large amount of money with him, or what the relationship between those involved was is still being investigated.
