On Easter Sunday in Rum near Innsbruck, the police arrested two speeders who were driving far too fast in a speed zone of 60. The two Bulgarians have now not only lost their driving license, but also their car.
During traffic surveillance measures on Tiroler Straße in the municipality of Rum, the police noticed the two cars on Sunday afternoon. Minus the measuring tolerance, the two raced at 125 km/h on a part of the national highway where a speed limit of 60 applies.
The Bulgarians, aged 34 and 26, each had an adult passenger in their car, and there was also a child (aged eight and 13) in the back seat of each car.
Driver’s license and car gone for the time being
The police confiscated the driver’s license on the spot. In addition, their cars were temporarily seized. You must be prepared for a report to the BH Innsbruck.
