Ukrainian authorities regularly call on Western allies to supply more air defense systems, including modern Patriot systems from the United States. A billion dollar aid package for Ukraine has been blocked in the US Congress for several months.
Zelensky also constantly asks for help. “We have to win this war. This is a historic opportunity for Ukraine to thwart Russian revanchism, and we must seize it,” he said on Wednesday.
