A man from Burgenland was sentenced by the Eisenstadt Regional Court to four years in prison for serious sexual abuse and rape of the girl, born in 2014. He vehemently denied the attacks until the end and immediately filed an appeal and an annulment complaint after it verdict had been announced.
A father (38) is said to have done disgusting things to his then seven and later eight-year-old daughter in 2021. Now the man had to stand trial at the Eisenstadt Regional Court for serious sexual abuse of minors, rape and incest. The prosecutor said he was accused of 20 assaults that allegedly occurred while the mother was at work and the older brother was in his room.

The child suffers from a severe post-traumatic stress disorder, according to the representative of the private parties, who demanded 10,000 euros for the girl to finance the therapy.

‘I am innocent!’ said the Burgenlander who was arrested. “It’s all made up. I can’t explain why she accuses me of that, especially a year later.” Of course, he occasionally cuddled with his daughter while watching TV. “That’s completely normal!” There may also have been skin contact, for example on the back, “but never intentionally.”
The defendant also denied family problems and frequent arguments with his wife before the public was excluded from the trial. After seven hours, the jury chaired by Doris Halper-Praunias reached a verdict. “There is absolutely no reason to doubt the detailed descriptions of the girl,” Ms Rat said. The father immediately filed an appeal and an annulment complaint against the four-year prison sentence plus 10,000 euros in damages.
