Late Wednesday evening in Großraming, Upper Austria, a young driver (20) overlooked a 15-year-old riding in front of him on her moped and collided with her. The collision threw the teen about 80 feet into a ditch.
The accident happened on Wednesday around 9 p.m. on the B 115, where a 20-year-old from the Steyr-Land district was driving his car. According to the police, he overlooked a woman riding in front of him on a moped in Großraming (15, also from Steyr-Land).
20 year old had 1.54 per mille
As a result of the collision between the vehicles, the 15-year-old was thrown approximately 25 meters into the ditch and injured. After initial care from the emergency physician, the youngster was taken to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum Steyr.
The 20-year-old driver had to take an alcohol test: 1.54 per mille, he temporarily lost his driver’s license.
