Owner helped victim – cyclist took a wrong turn and was bitten by a dog

There was another dog attack in Upper Austria. In St. Johann am Walde, a 69-year-old from Burgenland accidentally walked into a driveway. The dog that lived there didn’t like that at all, he immediately attacked the man and bit him.

The 69-year-old from Wiesen rode his racing bike on Sunday. Around 2 p.m. he was traveling in the area of ​​St. Johann am Walde. When he made a mistake and wanted to turn around on a driveway, he was bitten on the lower left leg by the nine-year-old stray house dog.

Victim had to go to hospital
The 54-year-old dog owner immediately intervened and called the rescue team. The 69-year-old was injured to an unknown extent and was taken by ambulance to Ried Hospital after receiving first aid.
