“The post office brings something for everyone” – this advertising slogan probably inspired a 16-year-old Ukrainian. He is said to have regularly ordered cannabis and cocaine in Germany for a friend who was two years older than him.
A 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen from Linz is suspected of smuggling narcotics from Germany to Austria through the post over a long period of time. As a result of an arrest warrant from the Linz Public Prosecutor’s Office, the youngster was arrested on April 4 – that was Thursday – by police officers from the Linz City Police Command and the State Criminal Police and then taken to Linz prison.
Known immediately
Immediately after his arrest, the 16-year-old admitted to making and receiving several drug orders since early March 2024. This was intended for an 18-year-old friend who wanted to sell the drug (cannabis and cocaine) for a profit.
