A 22-year-old man fled from police on Monday when officers tried to execute a warrant. The man jumped over a railing from the first floor to escape.
In close consultation with the Bregenz BH and after investigation by the Wolfurt police, the 22-year-old man who was paraded was found in an apartment in Wolfurt. When officers identified themselves, the man jumped over a railing from the first floor to the ground floor and fled on foot. Police initially lost visual contact with the man and therefore additional patrols and aviation police were called in to investigate.
Man arrested
Due to the built-up psychological pressure, the man identified himself after a short time and was arrested a short time later. He was forcibly taken to the Bludenz police detention center to serve his sentence. A total of six patrols and a federal police helicopter were involved in the operation.
