An argument between Slovak brothers in a house in Angerberg on Whit Saturday got completely out of hand. The dispute ended with a stabbing and the assailant’s escape did not last long.
At the beginning of the afternoon, according to the current state of the investigation, there was a dispute between the two brothers for reasons unknown. The conflict escalated and the 36-year-old stabbed his 37-year-old brother in the neck. He stabbed and cut him. After initial emergency medical treatment, the victim was taken to Kufstein Hospital, treated for surgery and hospitalized. “The victim is not in a life-threatening condition,” detectives from the Tyrolean State Police said at the beginning of the evening.
The attacker drove away but was caught
The suspect, who had fled in a car, was arrested in Kufstein shortly before 2 p.m. and arrested as part of a direct search. “A hearing of the 36-year-old with an interpreter is scheduled for Sunday,” the police news agency said. The public prosecutor then decides on pre-trial detention.
