The investigation by the police lasted months and has now resulted in a confession and a complaint: a 36-year-old from the Klagenfurt-Land district ran an indoor cannabis plantation and sold the drug.
During a search of her currently vacant home, officers discovered 211 cannabis plants in an indoor plantation. In the woman’s apartment in Klagenfurt they found about four kilograms of cannabis, typical packaging materials, two laptops, two digital scales, a grinder for chopping the herb (grinder) and several mobile phones.
The 36-year-old confessed. From May 2023 to date, she has grown cannabis three times and obtained approximately 5.7 kilos of the drug. From September last year to early April 2024, she sold about 1.8 kilos of cannabis at a profit.
The dealer is said to be free on the orders of the public prosecutor.
