Klagenfurt’s main station had to be evacuated with a large contingent of emergency services on Sunday afternoon. An unknown person threatened by email to detonate a bomb in the building.
There was great excitement at Klagenfurt main station on Sunday around 4 p.m. Numerous police officers evacuated the building. “The reason for this was that an unknown person had threatened the police by email to detonate a bomb in the Billa market,” the state police headquarters told the “Krone”.
Now the entire building is being closely examined by experts from the Carinthian police. “Such a threat must be taken seriously. And that is why we have initiated these measures,” said an official.
