The 87-year-old’s car collided with the car of an 18-year-old at an intersection in the Markt Piesting district. According to police reports, the pensioner died on the spot.
Passenger seriously injured
The impact caused the German’s car to end up in the ditch. The driver had to be freed from the car by rescuers. The 73-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The woman from the Baden district was flown by emergency helicopter to the Wiener Neustadt State Hospital.
18 year old in shock
The 18-year-old driver of the second car involved in the accident reacted in shock after the crash. She was also taken by rescue to the hospital in Wiener Neustadt.
