Road users behind him helped the 66-year-old out of the car and provided first aid before she was taken to Spittal Hospital with injuries of an undetermined nature.

“It is currently unclear why the accident occurred. An alcohol test on the driver was negative,” police said.
There was significant damage to the vehicle. The Tauernautobahn was closed to all traffic during the rescue work. The FF Paternion was deployed with three vehicles and twenty emergency services.
