This question will determine the quality of every wedding in 2024, says wedding planner Martina Hecht of ‘Knotted Hearts’ in Hirm. The trend is therefore towards smaller weddings with a deliberately selected group of guests. The festivities can then last several days – with a communal dinner on the day of arrival and a brunch on the day of departure. “We prefer to choose locations where wedding ceremonies can take place and where the bridal couple and their guests can also spend the night, so that the way to bed after the celebration is as short as possible,” says Hecht.
