The Madrid Public Prosecutor’s Office has filed a complaint in court against Alberto González Amador, partner of the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for two crimes: tax fraud and document forgery through a network of counterfeit invoices and companies.
The document accuses González Amador of defrauding the Treasury of 155,000 euros in corporate taxes in the 2020 financial year and another 195,951 euros in the following year.
In addition, he is accused of falsifying documents for showing up to 15 false invoices, with non-existent expenses of more than 1.7 million euros, through third-party companies to “reduce the profits of his companies” that he sent to the Treasury had to indicate. . According to the tax authorities’ report, this allowed him to save up to 350,000 euros in taxes in two years.
The Tax Authorities have handed over all the documentation to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which has decided to report Alberto González to the court for this alleged fraud against the Treasury, committed through false invoices and front companies. The Madrid Provincial Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint with the court on March 5 after receiving a report from the tax authorities containing the conclusions of an investigation that had begun two years earlier.
González Amador’s companies examined are Maxwell Cremona Engineering and Processes for the Promotion of the Environment, of which he was the sole director, and Masterman & Whitaker Medical Supplies and Health Process Engineering.
In the complaint, the prosecutor requests that the statements be considered investigated and that the Treasury Department inspectors, who prepared the Tax Authorities’ report on the matter, testify as experts.
