15 people were slightly injured in a tram accident at Universal Studios in Hollywood. The local fire brigade announced this on Sunday evening on X (formerly Twitter).
The incident took place on Saturday evening (local time) during a studio tour at the Californian amusement park, popular among tourists. The injured were taken to hospital for checks, the spokesperson said.
Problem with the tram brakes
The accident involved a four-car streetcar, the Los Angeles Times newspaper reported, citing investigators. The incident happened when the car was driving down a hill. There was a problem with the brakes. The investigation was initially still ongoing.
Theme park celebrates 60th anniversary
