Two military helicopters collided during a rehearsal for a military parade in Malaysia. The helicopter subsequently crashed, killing all ten crew members.
The incident took place at the Lumut base in the western state of Perak, the navy said on Tuesday. A video circulating on social media showed several helicopters flying in formation. Then the rotor of one helicopter hit the other and both machines crashed.
According to the Navy, one of the helicopters crashed into a stadium and the other into a swimming pool at an adjacent sports center. Photos showed the completely destroyed remains of the helicopters. The helicopters were a Eurocopter Fennec and an Agusta-Westland AW139.
