That could have been even worse: On Friday morning in Steinerkirchen an der Traun (Upper Austria), a 32-year-old driver drove his car into oncoming traffic and collided with a bus carrying 46 passengers. They escaped in horror.
However, the 32-year-old Croat was injured in the accident and had to be taken to the Wels Clinic. The 46 passengers and the bus conductor were unharmed.
Accident in morning traffic
The accident happened on Friday around 7 a.m. on Sattledter Landesstraße in the municipality of Steinerkirchen an der Traun. According to the police, the 32-year-old driver crossed the center line in the Oberheischbach area, causing the collision with the bus.
