He comes from Bologna, traveled all over the world as a coffee ambassador and is an Austrian coffee roaster: Andrea Trevisan, who has lived in the Bregenzerwald for several years.
The Austrian national champion in the coffee roasting discipline is Italian. Somehow that’s not surprising. Driving holidaymakers have always known it: “When we drive to Italy, we always stop at the first rest area on the highway. They have great espresso there.” Sometimes they also said “Expresso”. There is some truth in that. After all, Italian rest areas have portafilter machines – and the know-how to operate them. Two important advantages compared to most non-Italian establishments of this type, where the fully automatic coffee machine predominates.
He also knows how it works: Andrea Trevisan, who has been selling coffee in stylish bags under the name ‘Trevo’ since 2019. The coffee roasting machine was still in the garage in Au, but since 2021 Mr Trevisan has had his own coffee shop in Bezau.
