Neighbors came to help after an alcoholic drove off the road in Krumpendorf in Carinthia. The man had to be rescued unconscious from a ditch.
A man from Spittal (21) was heavily drunk and drove his car in Krumpendorf on Wednesday evening. On a bend, the young man tried to overtake another car, but he turned the wheel, left the road and crashed into a fence and several trees.
Neighbors rushed to help. “The 21-year-old was rescued from the car unconscious,” police said. A breath analysis showed that he was seriously intoxicated. His driver’s license was confiscated. The injured man was taken to hospital. The car was total.
