Another tuning meeting in Salzburg, another audience in the Airport Center: hundreds of hp fans gathered on the evening of the holiday and roared their engines. The police were also on site and handed out fines and citations.
The police estimated in an interview with the “Krone” that there were almost 200 vehicles. Like almost every weekend, many young people met at the Salzburg Airport Center on May 1. With their cellphones off, they filmed drivers spinning the tires of their high-powered cars and using these burnouts to create smoke and noise. So police officers showed up and checked on the drivers, some of whom came from other states and even neighboring countries. “Twenty reports have been filed and forty directorships have been handed out,” says the police press service. The mandates were for minor violations and the fines were collected on the spot.
The tuners have also been checked in Bavaria
The tuning drivers had already had to deal with other police officers: as the “Krone” learned, the PS fans were already on their way in neighboring Bavaria. Police officers also came there to look and check. And they probably handed out fines to drivers.
