Three women were threatened and attacked by men from private circles in Vienna on Thursday. In Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, a 25-year-old strangled his ex-girlfriend and threatened her. In the Margareten district, a 15-year-old allegedly threatened his girlfriend (17) with a knife and locked her in her room. In Liesing, a 54-year-old attacked an acquaintance – she had to be treated in hospital.
The first incident took place in the Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district of Vienna around 2:15 p.m. The 27-year-old’s ex-boyfriend allegedly came to her apartment uninvited twice. During a subsequent argument, he allegedly strangled her and touched her genitals, among other things. The police arrested the suspect near the apartment. The 25-year-old did not confess during interrogation.
Girlfriend locked in room
An hour later, the police were called to an apartment in the Margareten district. A 15-year-old Serbian allegedly beat his 17-year-old girlfriend, threatened her with a knife and locked her in a room. However, the 17-year-old fled the apartment through the window. The 15-year-old was arrested. Both the victim and the suspect declined to comment.
Knowledge choked and beaten
In Liesing, a 54-year-old Polish citizen allegedly demanded money from his 53-year-old acquaintance during a visit and verbally beat, strangled and threatened her with a knife. The 53-year-old managed to escape and ran to a neighbor. The suspect was arrested in the courtyard of the apartment complex. The woman received emergency medical care from Vienna’s emergency medical services and was taken to a hospital.
