After overlooking an oncoming vehicle on Monday evening, a 37-year-old man collided with another car in Vorarlberg. The other motorist then crashed into the wall of a house.
The 37-year-old was driving in Feldkirch on Monday around 5:45 p.m. when he wanted to turn left at an intersection. However, he may have overlooked the car of a 48-year-old man driving in the opposite direction. A collision could no longer be prevented.
The 48-year-old’s car was thrown into a house wall and the driver was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. And Alkotest showed a value of 0.6 per mille.
The 37-year-old was unharmed
The person who caused the accident was unharmed and both cars were seriously damaged. Kapfstrasse was closed for about an hour while the accident was investigated; the Gisingen fire brigade and the Red Cross were present with a total of four vehicles and 41 rescue workers.
