Taylor Swift concert tickets are in high demand – hackers now wanted to take advantage of this. To do this, they tried to capture and resell digital tickets for the 34-year-old singer’s German dates.
Continued purchases of Swift tickets have now been temporarily suspended. The number of unauthorized resales is in the low double figures, the spokesperson for the ticket exchange Eventim reassured on Monday.
Swift (34) will start the European part of her tour in a few days and will also be in Vienna’s Happel Stadium from August 8 to 10. The tickets were only available through Eventim and were sold out immediately. For security reasons, the tickets were personalized. It is only possible to resell them via an Eventim ticket exchange.
Transactions deemed unlawful were reversed. Eventim has also contacted the police.
