Around 11 a.m., a witness reportedly saw a male person shoot several times from the window of an apartment into the courtyard there. WEGA officials were immediately alerted and began searching for the apartment in question.
Son wanted to do target practice
Emergency services were quickly able to locate a 55-year-old mother and her 14-year-old son. The woman allegedly bought the boy a CO2 weapon online and gave it to him. “The 14-year-old stated that he was doing target practice,” police spokesman Mattias Schuster said Thursday.
The gun and ammunition were found in the apartment and seized. Both the 55-year-old and her son were reported.
