The painstaking analysis of mobile phone data suggests that there are even more victims in the Vienna-Favoriten horror case.
Several young perpetrators allegedly attacked a then twelve-year-old girl in Favoriten over a period of months – the “Krone” reported the shocking case in detail.
The smartphone data of the suspects now shows that there may be even more underage victims. Investigators have found several photos and videos showing scenes in hotel rooms.
Send videos to friends
Videos saved immediately afterwards show sexual intercourse between suspected minors and are said to show violent altercations. High-profile chats were also seized. After all, the underage perpetrators probably filmed their crimes with their mobile phones to send them to their friends…
“Never consensus”
In addition to numerous attacks in hotel rooms, there was a disgusting scene of a girl being assaulted in a stairwell as two other minors watched. “It is clear from all these videos that there was never any consensual intimacy,” lawyer Sascha Flatz told “Krone”.
The Public Prosecution Service wants to investigate in detail the evaluated evidence that is now being presented. So far, a 16-year-old suspect is under investigation for possible rape; other suspects are charged with sexual abuse of a minor, aggravated sexual abuse of a minor and producing sexually related abuse material of a child.
Suspects between 13 and 19 years old
The suspects include thirteen underage boys between the ages of 14 and 18 and a young adult aged 19. Two suspects are not yet 14 years old. Ultimately, a perpetrator was still unknown. According to information from the “Krone”, some of them are asylum seekers and also Austrians with a migration background.
None of the suspects are in custody; According to the Public Prosecution Service there is no reason for arrest.
