In the case of the twelve-year-old who was allegedly raped several times by a group of teenagers between February and June 2023, further gruesome details are coming to light: the student’s tormentors may have abused other girls. And: The suspects are also suspected of other serious crimes.
Anna’s gruesome case (name changed)the student from Vienna-Favorites, who in 2023, when she was only twelve years old, was repeatedly abused by seventeen boys – between the ages of 14 and 19, most of them from the Arab world – now takes on even more shocking dimensions.
In the meantime, further chats of the suspect, conducted on different accounts, have been recovered by the forensic data experts.
Exchanged about planned crimes
And the almost unbelievable thing became clear: the alleged perpetrators told extensively through various courier services about planned and already executed heinous crimes against Anna and other girls; often interspersed with photos and videos of the victims – in humiliating situations; during sexual acts or when vomiting.
Victim blackmailed
Photos, videos – with which the tormented people were then blackmailed: “If you don’t come, I will show it here.” Moreover, that is probably the case, as evidenced by the photos and messages sent by the suspect involved in large-scale drug trafficking and violent crimes, other teenagers and car thefts. And: They presented their weapons – a shocking number of knives and revolvers…
Suspects not in custody
Why are the boys still at large? “There is currently no evidence that requires pre-trial detention. Naturally, all new evidence will now be examined,” the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office said.
