Wild scenes took place in a physiotherapy practice in Kematen in Tyrol on Thursday evening. A drunk man (37) set off a fire alarm and harassed and threatened people in the practice. The man also behaved unreasonably towards the police.
The 37-year-old German appeared at the physiotherapy practice around 7 p.m., “apparently heavily drunk”, according to the police. The man ripped a fire alarm from the wall in front of and in the practice, causing the fire alarm to go off. He then harassed several people in the office and even threatened to kill a physiotherapist several times, according to police.
The alarmed police wanted to intervene, but the drunkard also allegedly behaved extremely aggressive and unruly towards the officers. He was temporarily arrested and taken to the police station. Because he was so drunk, an interrogation had not yet been possible.
