Between February 1 and April 17, strangers were looking for an unusual sex object in Innsbruck. As the police have now learned, a bronze figure may have been removed from Innsbruck’s Leopold Fountain on Universitätsstraße during this period. At the fountain, under the main figure, a horse with Leopold, four carriers of water troughs are mounted. One of these bronze figures is missing.
The putti was stuck with glue and a threaded rod and was forcibly broken down and stolen by the perpetrators. The statue is about 60 centimeters tall and weighs between 30 and 40 kilograms. The damage runs into the tens of thousands of euros.
