Around 4:20 p.m., a local woman was on her motorcycle in Kufstein, coming from the Inntalautobahn via exit 1 towards Eibergbundesstraße. “She may have noticed a convoy that had formed late on the exit due to traffic and drove into the last car of the convoy,” police said.
Burned by hot exhaust gases
The woman fell from the motorcycle and became trapped underneath. The woman’s 25-year-old companion tried to free the motorcyclist and suffered burns to both hands from the vehicle’s hot exhaust.
Woman also injured in car
The 19-year-old was flown to the clinic in Innsbruck with significant injuries. The passenger (54) of a car was also injured in the accident. She was taken by ambulance to Kufstein Hospital. “There was significant damage to the vehicles involved,” the director said.
