Storms partially destroyed the road to Oberbergtal near Neustift in 2022. Last year, suppliers were allowed to use the emergency route to the material cable car in Oberiss. Because – as already reported – the agreement between the community and the property owners has expired and there is no agreement in sight, the hut should be supplied by helicopter this year. However, as cabin manager Thomas Fankhauser emphasizes, this would not be economically feasible.
