Due to an unknown driver, a local woman (50) in Brixlegg, Tyrol, drove her moped into a concrete wall on Sunday evening and fell. The driver then left the scene of the accident without stopping.
Around 11:20 p.m., the 50-year-old was riding her moped on the B171 from Sankt Gertraudi towards Brixlegg. Her 52-year-old partner was in the passenger seat. “At the roundabout in Brixlegg, the woman entered the roundabout and intended to continue driving in the direction of Kundl,” police said. The driver of a dark car may have overlooked the two-wheeler.
Woman was slightly injured
“The 50-year-old was able to avoid the collision with the car by taking evasive action, but ended up hitting a concrete wall and fell,” the driver said. She was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital in Kufstein. The driver continued towards Kundl.
The Kramsach police station is now asking for useful information on 059133 / 7213.
