On Saturday afternoon, a 30-year-old attacked his friend (25) in Vienna-Ottakring with his vodka bottle because he allegedly drank too much from it. Attentive passers-by immediately alerted the police.
The two friends initially felt comfortable in the Lerchenfelder Belt around 1:45 p.m. and drank a lot of alcohol together. Shortly afterwards, an argument broke out between the two over alcohol.
30 year old arrested
This was followed by the attack on the 25-year-old with the vodka bottle. He was injured in the head. The victim received emergency medical care at the scene and was then taken to hospital. The 30-year-old was arrested. The officers discovered that he was already wanted due to outstanding administrative fines.
