When a beautiful woman contacted a 35-year-old via social media, he was immediately hooked. Communication continued via a messenger app. “During the course of the conversation, the perpetrator persuaded the man to perform sexual acts in front of a running video camera,” police explain.
When the 35-year-old complied with the request, the tide suddenly turned. “The unknown man then claimed to have recorded this video and demanded an amount of several thousand euros from the victim,” police said. Otherwise, the perpetrator threatened to make the juicy recordings public.
The victim then transferred a low four-figure sum, but when the perpetrator demanded further transfers, the man filed a report.
