Seriously injured – worker falls into red-hot asphalt during a fall

Date:

A worker (32) suffered serious burns on Wednesday afternoon at a construction site in Münster in the Tyrolean Unterland. The 32-year-old was hit by a passing mobile home. It landed on the tarmac that had just been handed out and was still extremely hot.

The accident happened just after 5 p.m.: a 69-year-old drove in his mobile home along the construction site on the national highway. The driver apparently had every effort to pass the bottleneck. When he looked around for an alternative, it happened: the camper hit the worker from Serbia and knocked him to the ground.

The 32-year-old fell on the red-hot asphalt and suffered severe burns, according to the police. The man was taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic.
