Further travel impossible – two buses became wedged together

Date:

The Florianis were called to a technical operation in a chokepoint in Weidling in the Tulln district (Lower Austria). Two buses became wedged together and effectively became stuck.

The passengers, the two bus firefighters and the Florianis from the Weidling volunteer fire brigade probably imagined the start of the weekend differently. In Weidling, a cadastral community in the city of Klosterneuburg, two buses got stuck in a bottleneck. Driving further was impossible.

Florianis rushed to help
Emergency crews deflated the tires on the right side of the two buses and then covered them with wood on the left side, allowing the vehicles to tip apart. The buses were then able to pass each other carefully, but fortunately no damage was caused.

After filling the tires with air, the Weidling fire brigade was able to return to the fire station after about two hours.
