But first: a month ago, Brucker’s police were called in by an acquaintance close to the girl: “This ad alleges that a teacher has inappropriately approached a student,” confirms the responsible ministry (administrator of the Higher Federal School is the Ministry of Agriculture) at the request of the “Steirerkrone”.
The management, also aware, responded quickly – reporting the incident to the ministry’s human resources department. “The teacher in question was immediately suspended by the HR department,” the ministry clarified. Because the allegations were so serious, they felt compelled to resign: “Meanwhile, the teacher is no longer an employee of the federal ministry.”
“Consensual Sex?” – The surveys are ongoing
Meanwhile, the police are investigating. Spokesperson Fritz Grundnig reports that the teenager spoke about “consensual sex” during an interrogation. However, because the teacher is twice as old as the student, abuse of authority is being investigated. After the witness interviews have been completed, the file is sent to the public prosecutor’s office in Leoben. The man is subject to the presumption of innocence.
