Elke Kazianka runs the Ortsburg inn in Gailtal (Carinthia) with great passion. But a dispute between the community and the landlady seriously dampens the mood. The municipality wants to terminate the lease and is taking the entrepreneur to court. The “Krone” spoke to the landlady about the reasons.
The Ortsburg inn in Vorderberg has been successfully serving food for seven years. “But a few months ago there was a problem with a guest. That was probably the reason for the whole dispute,” says Elke Kazianka, who has been self-employed for 25 years. And now the dispute between the entrepreneur and the municipality, which owns and leases the local castle, has ended up in court. “They want to get rid of me,” says the landlady when checking out of the Krone restaurant.
