On Wednesday, three young police officers (22, 25, 32) were killed during a climbing exercise in the northern Italian mountains. The rock may have suddenly given way under the feet of the members of the “Guardia Finanza” (GdF). The police officers fell several meters down.
The accident took place in the mountain town of Medisimo. As Italian media reported, the three members of the Alpine rescue unit succumbed to their injuries on the spot. Two other colleagues who accompanied her were unharmed.
