Seven people were injured in a car accident on the Fernpass road in Nassereith in Tyrol on Wednesday evening: two cars collided head-on. The exact cause of this is not yet clear.
The collision took place on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. in the municipality of Nassereith in the Tyrolean district of Imst. According to police, two cars – one carrying four people and one carrying three people – collided head-on near the Fernsteinsee inn for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
Seven injured people taken to hospitals
One person was slightly injured in the accident. The helicopter took her to the hospital in Zams. The other six occupants of the car suffered minor injuries. They were taken by rescue parties to Zams and Reutte hospitals.
At the scene of the accident, Fernpass Road had to be closed to all traffic about an hour and a half after the accident.
