Navarre’s parliament has given the green light to the decree stabilizing nearly 3,600 jobs in the provincial administration, and now, at the request of the nationalist coalition, it will be passed into law. According to the government, the current interim rate would fall from 43% to 13%.
The government of María Chivite has moved forward thanks to the abstention agreed with EH Bildu. However, the coalition of Abertzale and Geroa Bai, along with Navarra Suma and Izquierda Ezkerra, who voted against, finds the number of seats low. Therefore, in order to improve the stabilization process, the government of Navarra has approved its processing as a bill.
The Vice President and Spokesperson of the Government of Navarre, Javier Remirezhas shown his willingness to agree: “We will continue with our hands outstretched and we are ready to improve this text,” he explained.
According to the decree, 3,589 jobs in the provincial administration would be stabilized, of which 80% would be based on merit and 20% through comparative research. According to the government, with the stabilization process, the interim, which is currently 43% in the Provincial Government, would drop to 13%.
