Serious accident in Kirchdorf in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel on Monday! A Dutch motorist (59) reduced his speed due to a 60 zone. A Hungarian driver (30) driving behind him crashed into the vehicle. The 30-year-old was “severely drunk”.

The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. The 59-year-old Dutchman was driving his car on the B178 towards St. Johann. A 52-year-old Dutch woman was sitting in the passenger seat. Directly behind the car, the 30-year-old Hungarian drove his car in the same direction. A 35-year-old fellow countryman was in the vehicle with him.

The 59-year-old slowed down due to an early zone where only 60 km/h is allowed.

The “bill” was immediately deleted
The 30-year-old apparently noticed the braking maneuver too late, which resulted in a rear-end collision. “Both vehicles became pinned together and were seriously damaged,” police said. All four occupants suffered unknown injuries in the accident.

“An alcohol test on the Hungarian driver showed that he was seriously drunk.” The Hungarian’s ‘driving license’ was immediately confiscated.
