– Farmers’ protests: The farmers of Hegoalde and Iparralde will keep the AP-8 and A-63 in Biriatu blocked until 10am after spending the night in the muga. The blockade mainly affects the passage of trucks and freight traffic, although heavy vehicles already use one lane from Iparralde to Hegoalde. In addition, organizers have warned that if no progress is made in the summer, they will implement blockades for several days from October.

– Unemployment data May: Today they present the data on registered unemployment and social security membership for the month of May 2024. In April, registered unemployment fell by 1,918 people in the BAC and by 602 in Navarre. In concrete terms, a total of 109,553 unemployed people were registered with the Basque Public Employment Service Lanbide in April, 1,918 fewer than the previous month. In Navarre, the total number of unemployed was 30,241.
