Numerous operational units from the police, rescue brigade, professional fire brigade, IVB, Tigas and other institutions responded. Out of an abundance of caution, the area was largely cordoned off.

Ultimately, police were allowed into the woman’s apartment. Fortunately, the officers did not notice a strong smell of gas there. “A report of dangerous threats will be filed with the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office,” the director said. The woman was taken to a hospital.
