Trial in Innsbruck – stalking in front of the nursery: 18-year-old convicted

Date:

After an argument and contact was broken, a young Tyrolean is said to have repeatedly followed a close friend and observed her in the nursery. He also scared her with a threatening video. The 18-year-old was now before the judge.

“As a very good friend, she was once one of the most important people in my life,” the defendant emphasized before the Innsbruck Regional Court. However, after an argument, the underage girl completely broke off contact with the 18-year-old.

Threatening video with multiple gunshots
The young Tyrolean then allegedly repeatedly ambushed the student, secretly took photos of her and watched her almost daily through the window of her nursery. “He also sent her a threatening video of him firing multiple shots from a fake gun,” the complaint said.

“I am very sorry for what I did and I would like to sincerely apologize for it,” the 18-year-old said. But it was not clear to him whether the girl had really cut off contact with him completely. “She kept blocking and unblocking me on WhatsApp.”

Final judgment not yet
The defendant, who also wants to undergo therapy, received a semi-suspended fine of 1,440 euros. Not legally binding.
