Nasty surprise on Tuesday morning for five car owners in Linz. Their vehicles were heavily involved in an overnight fire. No one was injured in the incident and police are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Arson cannot be ruled out.
The incident took place on Tuesday night around 3 a.m. in the area of Anastasius-Grün-Straße in Linz. It is currently unclear why it started burning.
The incident left five cars parked along the road badly damaged.
Investigations are underway
Evacuations of neighboring houses were not necessary. Fortunately, no people were injured or in danger. The adjacent house was protected by the professional fire brigade.
The police investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is in full swing. Arson cannot be ruled out.
