Advice sought – threatened with weapon: hunt for white-haired robber

An 82-year-old was robbed by masked men in her home in Tribuswinkel (Lower Austria). Striking: one of the perpetrators has a white ‘goatee’. The police are looking for the unknown man.

An 82-year-old from the Baden district will probably never forget this day. Because the woman suddenly looked down the barrel of a gun. On January 30, around 8:15 p.m., two masked men broke into her house on Zubringerstrasse in Tribuswinkel, threatened her with a weapon and demanded money and valuables from the frightened pensioner. The unknown persons managed to gain access to the building, pushed the older woman to the ground and started hunting.

The two then fled with cash and jewelry (watches, rings, chains and pendants), leaving the 82-year-old injured and in fear of death.

The police are asking for information
During the flight, at least one of the robbers took off his mask, allowing an eyewitness to provide information about the perpetrator to the police. According to the resident, the man is believed to be between 50 and 60 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 6 inches tall, with medium-length white, messy hair and a striking white goatee, and has prominent cheekbones and bushy eyebrows.
